Pace Session: 
A tempo run is a faster-paced workout also known as a lactate-threshold, LT, or threshold run. You will be working to half marathon (race) pace, 10km and sometimes 5km pace. To find out your paces, use the VDOT calculator.

To view the session details including a meeting point map: 

  1. Please be at the session at least 5mins before the start. 
  2. When you arrive please "check in" with the coach
  3. Any gear is your own responsibility, we will look after your car keys
  4. Our coach will outline the session format in the session briefing before we begin.
What to bring to the session:
  • GPS watch, or a watch with a stopwatch function
  • Headlamp for dark evenings
  • Appropriate running gear for the conditions
  • Understanding of what your "paces" are for half marathon (race pace), 10km and 5km pace
  • Warm gear for before and after the session
